Some people just love to complain!

Review for a Cuba Cruise on Carnival Sensation

We chose this cruise because the itinerary included Cuba, which we wanted to visit. I most likely wouldn't have chosen this ship otherwise. That said, I don't get what all the complaints are about! I'm on my 20th Carnival cruise so I've seen a lot of ships. It's true this one is smaller and doesn't have a few amenities like the Seaside Theatre but it still had plenty of other things you would find ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Sensation

We were looking for a quick long weekend getaway. I was a little worried based on reviews and a co-worker's experience. We were pleasantly surprised! Yes, the ship is older and shows wear and tear. The bathroom did not have a vanity like older ships. However, we found it quite clean. The color scheme is quite electrifying. It's great if you like purple....which I do lol If you are familiar ...

Unbothered by an older ship and had a great time.

This was my first cruise, so I don't have anything to compare this ship to. Embarkation was fast for me. The food was decent. I didn't eat as much as I thought I would. I think the heat suppressed my appetite a little. I enjoyed the cafe, bars, comedy shows, casino, and parties. The shows in the theater were good. Most of the staff was very friendly. I think I will enjoy smaller to ...

Highly recommend priority boarding option. There was a very long line regardless if you had an appt. Loved George's food outside of the gate in Bahamas. Carnival should really allow/bring the Bahamas experience inside the gate giving people a cultural experience...we would have never know they were there if we didn't hear the live music outside the gate. Its wonderful, that's why people ...

Ugliest Ship I've ever seen...but they still make it fun.

I was invited to join a family group to celebrate a birthday, and as the group was amazing, I did have a good time on this cruise. However, the decor of the ship was definitely the ugliest I have seen. The predominant color was dark purple, with lots of neon thrown in. As Carnival does not have any side windows open on the pool deck, many people like to go up one level, where there are lounge ...

Cruising Cozumel

Spring break girls cruise with daughter and granddaughter was everything we hoped for and more. Cozumel is beautiful and a tourist driven economy means they go the extra mile. We never felt unsafe and we cruised almost the entire island in a Dune Buggy. Very fun. The cruise director Deon and Fun Squad (Andy) just made the time on board an absolute blast. The food was good and always something ...

It was pretty good for my first cruise!

First of all—getting onto the cruise went really smooth and quick, that was great. Although, it was very difficult getting off. The crew blocked stairways and hallways so it was very hard to find where you’re supposed to go. I just went with my mother, I wouldn’t say that it’s the type of cruise for that though—you would want to go with more than one person definitely. The ship was very ...

Ports were great but ship was horrible

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Sensation

We visited Jamaica and grand Cayman. Both ports were amazing! Would recommend to anyone. The ship was an older ship, which we knew entering the cruise. This was our 3rd cruise so my husband and I are familiar with the embarkation procedure and the cruising experience. We had been on 1 royal Caribbean cruise and 1 carnival. Our room was in the front of the ship on deck 6. We heard banging ...

Great cruise for the money!

The Carnival Sensation was a pleasant surprise! Although I’ve been on more than a dozen cruises, including 3 other Carnival cruises, I wasn’t sure what to expect on this 5-night itinerary on one of the older boats in the Carnival line. I’m happy to report that it is a great deal for your dollar if you’re looking for a low frills, high fun cruise experience. What the boat lacks in décor from ...

There is not enough room to share how horrible this cruise was. First, the dock member lost my luggage as I checked in, and later found out they wrote the wrong room number on my tag and set my luggage outside the wrong door. It took me 5 hours to find it. Then. I paid $85 for internet service to do grad school homework, but the internet didn't work. The staff was very rude, the ship was old and ...
