Food aspires to be top notch, but doesn’t achieve it. Waiting staff, some very good others less so. My disappointment was the beds, uncomfortable and hard to get into and out of. No comfortable chair owing to limited space. Ship clean, efficient, and organised. Cruise manager very good at his job. Entertainment was by a talented chap named Randy, one man with a lot to do by himself, he did ...

Having done many ocean cruises we decided to try a river cruise and this itinerary was ideal, we were fully escorted from St Pancras and the escort/guide was very good. The food in the first week was very good, comparable with sea cruising without the wide choice of menu however for the second week was not quite as good. Lunch was initially served in the dining room but was then changed to the ...

Wanting to visit cities on the Rhine that we had not been to before. Overall it was a good Cruise the Staff like on any Cruise are fantastic. The Ports of call were great & well organised. The food was OK my wife said the Fish dishes were good, my Meat dishes not so. We had been on this Ship 3 years ago & knew what to expect. The Boarding was smooth & we noticed that the lounge/Bar area had ...

We chose this cruise to discover World War 1 history. It included two excellent speakers, one of whom had written a book on Pashendaele, and excellent excursions with knowledgeable tour leaders. The ship is small and cosy with extremely friendly staff. There were several ways of getting to the ship and we made our own way. Some did Eurostar, others flew and another group took the ferry. As ...

My friend and I chose this cruise from The River Cruise Line as it went up the Danube to Vienna, Bucharest, Bratislava and other smaller places. It was our first cruise and we weren't sure what to expect. We needn't have worried. The coach took us to Passau where we joined ms Serenity. Embarkation and disembarkation at the various stopping places went very easily. The ship was very clean and well ...

This Cruise, our first, was booked over the occasion of my 70th birthday, Always an ambition of mine to cruise the Rhine and I was not disappointed. The crew from the Captain downwards were very friendly and efficient, I can give an accolade to the executive chef Clinton James for his fabulous food and its presentation. The ship was a delight to sail on despite all the troubles of the River Cruise ...
