We loved the cruise on Florida rivers after many cruises in the gulf and oceans we enjoyed the calm river cruise The ship was a bit dated but the crew and personnel were very attentive. Food was excellent with many choices and sometimes high level entrees like lobster and prime rib. A smaller ship with only 90 passengers allowed us to meet many of the passengers. First time cruising with American Cruise Line. Small beautiful ship with lots of amenities. Very accommodating to passengers with disabilities. Rooms are good size with king size bed and balcony. 180 maximum passengers but we only had 110 on our cruise. Staff were WONDERFUL. They took their time to get to know you, your likes and dislikes. The ship was nice and the cabin good size. Shore exertions good. But dining experience was not good. The selection of food not very good. No side dishes at lunch or dinner. We took a Mississippi River cruise on American Cruise Lines Oct. 3-10. It definately had the price tag of a luxury cruise but unfortunately fell very short.
