Newest ship but not the best

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on MSC Euribia

MSC is offering good prices, but you get what you paid for. I general ship is good, new, nice and clean. Good services, not very crowded, except plaza, which is not plaza, but place for traffic jam. Food is ok, coffee is real trash, small portions for dinners in main restaurant, but you always can eat more and more in main buffet. TV is locked to hotel mode, and you can’t hook anything to USB, ...

Overcrowded nightmare!

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on MSC Euribia

I had travelled with n big ships before. But the MSC Euribia was a big disappointment. We were excited about sailing in a new ship. But the Euribia turned out very disappointing regarding the common areas, space, entertainment and dinning choices. For a ship carrying 6,000 passengers, the pools and jacuzzis were not enough (2 pools and 6 whirlpools). It is the same as trying to fit 40 people in a ...

Extremely disappointed

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on MSC Euribia

This was my first cruise and will be my last with MSC; yes, it was that bad.. First off, when I saw how big the ship was I was in awe, sadly that feeling did not last. The first two days were rough; the water is apparently very rough and I had a hard time with it. The buffet food was okay, but not great; our assigned dining area food was gross; I ordered the mushroom risotto which looked like ...

Great Cruise Line - If you like to do it on the cheap!

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on MSC Fantasia

MSC was chosen by a travel director thru family members. It was only a 4 day cruise. We had fun as a family, but there were too many negatives to go on this line again. We are not that experienced - 2 Norwegian and 1 Carnaval. The ship itself was ok, lots of mirrors for some reason, make it look bigger? Staff works hard to keep place clean and operational. Best part of the operation. ...

Fleecing the crowds

I can’t deny that it’s great to be on a new ship, everything is new and fresh. The destinations are great and we visited some lovely places. There are a lot of interior rooms on the Euribia and the ceilings are extremely low; it feels like effort was made to accommodate more people. We found the ship extremely busy, really a lot of people to the point of feeling claustrophobic. With poor ...

I decided to write a review for our MCS Fantasia cruise because I found there to be a lack of information out there on some basic questions and hope this will help fill in gaps for the next family that tries to partake on a cruise like this. Some of this will be review of the MSC cruise itself, and some other information that might help with planning and execution. Background: We took a ...

MSC Fantasia - 7N Norway cruise review

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on MSC Fantasia

We just got off a 7N Norway cruise on board the MSC Fantasia from Kiel, Germany. Having cruised multiple times with Royal Caribbean, Celebrity and Princess, we were unsure about how we would like MSC, especially an older ship of theirs. We travelled as part of a pretty big group. We had 5 balcony cabins between the 10 adults and 1 infant and fortunately we were all close to one another. We ...

Chaos. Poor communication.

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on MSC Fantasia

It seems I’ve sailed on two cruises with MSC: my first and my last. Problems: 1. Poor communication. Boarding tenders was not announced. No warning of 7:30 lineup. It resulted in a huge missed prepaid reservation. By the time we were shuttles to the harbor, there were only a few hours available. Worst cruise experience ever. 2. Cancelled Olden port. Clearly, MSC had no plans to visit ...

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on MSC Grandiosa

This cruise was the result of three previously booked cruises cancelled coming together as one dur to Covid. We cruise as a group of 4 over three bookings. All the staff were friendly, and many quickly learnt what our preferences were. Had a great time in the sports complex playing the games. A few too many of the arcade games were broken which was a shame. Bowling at sea is always fun! The ...

This was my first time cruising with MSC. Before the cruise, I was a little bit concern because of some negative reviews. As far as I understand, the ship was only 50% full. I was told that quite a lot of cancellations because of the change of route. Instead of St Petersburg, we stayed 2 nights in Tallinn. I had the premium balcony cabin. There's a big sofa which can turn into a double ...
