Amazing memories

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Baranof Dream

My sister and I cruised the Inside Passage Sojourn from Sitka to Ketchikan Aug 27-Sep 4 2023. We each booked a room to ourselves using a single supplement waiver. All cabins have a window and view. I have had little interest in a large traditional cruise, and this trip exceeded my expectations. I appreciated the small capacity, the intimate itinerary reaching into small places for culture, ...

We booked a small ship cruise to the Alaska inner passage thinking this would be a more intimate experience. We expected to pay more than the big cruise ship but we thought it would be worth it. After careful consideration we booked with Alaskan Dream Cruises. We have done about 5 small ship cruises so we had some expectations. Their website and discussion with the reservation desk made it ...

Amazing Crew, Food, Activities, and Everything!

Alaska had always intrigued us. We had associated it with the Artic, oil, Anchorage, amazing scenery, wildlife and large cruise ships. The amazing scenery and wildlife were of interest to us but not the large cruise ships. Then someone told us about the Inside Passage. We discovered that we could explore this on a small ship. So we booked a seven night trip from Ketchikan to Juneau with Un-Cruise ...

This small ship experience is as good as it gets! This was higher priced than the big ships but twice the Alaska experience and ten times the service and included activities. Incredible wines and top shelf liquors included. We had the smoothest and fastest embarkation and disembarkation ever. The owner even came on the ship the last day to say goodbye. All the crew members lines up to shake you ...

Too rich

I have to agree expensive paintings and jewelery auctions were a bit too much. The casino was a wasted space as far as we were concerned, and did not seem to be populated most of the time. We went to have a good time not rub elbows with the rich and famous. Service was great, the crew were helpful and friendly. Dinner menu's were elegant and deserts divine. Even though lobster was offered one ...

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Un-Cruise.

We originally booked an Alaska cruise with Oceania, but it was from Vancouver to San Francisco, making any significant excursions to Denali National Park or Fairbanks difficult. Our agent recommended a Regent Seven Seas cruise ending in Anchorage and then a land package through another travel company. When I went to their site, I found Un-Cruise, and having enjoyed hotel barge cruises in France, ...

Enjoyed a cruise in mid-May that left from Seattle ,Washington and went to three Alaskan ports and also a visit to Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Awesome trip..... the staff of the cruise ship are VERY attentive, I don't think I have ever been asked so many times, how things were going? Is there anything you need? Are you enjoying your cruise? The staff were very intune to cruisers needs and ...

NCL - PEARL (GRADE D); NEEDS IMPROVEMENTS...

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Norwegian Pearl

I cruised to Alaska on June 11, 2011 by NCL - Pearl. My experience with NCL - Pearl specific to the food and seating was very disappointing. Food quality was not great; not tasty; did not want to go for the second serve; tables ran out; we had to walk and take food to other decks constantly; dining areas were overly crowded; tables were unclean; waiters were working quietly - as if just doing ...

Have you ever dreamed of reindeer on your rooftop? Have you yearned to see them up close and personally? Ever thought you'd feed them? With my love of animals, this was an unfathomable dream! This dream came true for me in July in Alaska, while hiking through the rainforest of Ketchikan on our 7-day cruise on Celebrity's ship, "Infinity." We flew from San Diego to Vancouver, arriving at the ship ...
