Our daughter in law drove us to the terminal and there was a short wait for someone to assist my husband in a wheelchair. Our room was ready when we got onboard so we dropped off our 'stuff' and headed to the dining room for a very nice lunch. We were on the Caribbean Princess in October from Quebec to Houston. The cabin we had this time was next door to the one we had in October so we had the ...

We chose this cruise for two reasons: the port of Houston was drive able for us and we wanted to visit Cartagena, Columbia. We were familiar with the other ports, but enjoyed some anyway. Embarkation and debarkation were relatively easy and it was a joy to just drive home. The ship was tired and disappointing. We arrived on board with problems in the very tiny room (balcony). We booked the March 6, 2016 Eastern Caribbean cruise to accommodate a family member's vacation. We flew to Houston one day before and settled in a hotel near Clear Lake, 15 minutes away from the Houston Bayport Cruise Terminal. We took a taxi to the terminal and were onboard in 15 minutes after arriving at the terminal. There were lots of staff working and boarding was very efficient. The ship is ...

We really enjoyed that Princess incorporated Caribbean style food into their menus for this trip. We had read something about this and it was true. Each meal had something true to the island style of eating. We went on water oriented excursions each day and after 3 full days of sun and fun we were very happy for our sea days... The food demonstration was hilarious, who knew chefs could be so ...

First, cruising is the best vacation value out there if one can drive to the embarkation port. This was our third cruise with the prior two on RCL. Conclusion: Not Impressed due to lack of a wow but we did score a great last minute price. Would we book Princess again? Sure, if you give us a new ship and a great price. Ship: Dated. Eating in the main dining room felt like going to a nice local ...
