The pool areas are nice, and have retractable roofs in case it rains. It does get a bit hot when the roof is extended.

If you book the Best of St. Lucia tour with Costa, ask for M.G. to be your guide!

The Caribbean sunsets were some of the best parts of this cruise. Especially if you got to see them from the top decks while leaving port.

This is our 15th cruise, we sailed with such companies as Celebrity, MSC, Carnival, Royal Carribean, NCL, Costa. This time we sailed for a cruise on the Norwegian fjords on the Costa Pacifica (04-07 to 15-07). This cruise surprised us so much that we decided to write a review in English. The food on the ship is horrible in general and the whole service, every day on deck 9, a choice of 3 kinds ...

We booked this cruise for a wedding anniversary. 6 months in advance we booked the cruise. On advise of Neckermann Cruises we also booked all our excursions on line a few days later, what gave us on some excursions discounts up to 35%. We choose English for all excursions. When arriving it was well organized and we got on board: impressive and a very nice clean cabin with balcony that was ...

We chose this cruise for the itinerary and we were not disappointed. We enjoyed every port of call, stunning scenery combined with history and beautiful buildings. The Costa Pacifica was a lovely ship with lots to offer. We dined in the Blue Moon restaurant and the food was excellent as was the waiter service. We had a fantastic wine waiter called Herberton who was excellent at his job. ...

Chose this cruise because it fit well within a month long european trip, and got a good rate ($500 pp). Always wanted to visit Norway, so what the heck. Cruise leaves from Steinwarder dock, which is the hardest one to get to. Some fellow cruisers were under the impression that the cruiseline was running a free shuttle from the central train station to port, but that was not the case. FYI, ...

Excellent Baltic sea itinerary - cruise ship needs improvement

I traveled with my wife and 2 children (aged 9 and 12) to Kiel to for our cruise on board the Costa Pacifica from August 5 to 16. The embarkation process took a couple of hours. We boarded the ship and found our way to our inside cabin. Since we had been on board the sister ship Favolosa in 2014, we were familiar with the ship's layout. The cabin was adequate and later found that our cabin steward ...

This has been the worst vacation I have ever had although the expectations were really high. We were looking forward to going to the Norwegen fjords, escaping from the hot summer days and enjoying good food. Actually, we were promised that the food in the Costa Pacifica was amazing. To our disappointment, the food has been the worst I had payed for to dine out. I have to say I didn't have high ...

Before leaving on this cruise, I read some reviews on cruise critic and was a bit concerned, but the itinerary of this trip was too appealing. Now, I am wondering what people's expectations were? I found the staff extremely helpful, switching languages effortlessly and answering every question clearly. The cabin was lovely and constantly being tidied and cleaned. I am celiac and the attention ...

We saw 9 countries in ten days and the sites were fabulous! The price for the 4 of us including taxes and port fees was $2170. The ship was clean and heavily decorated in a tacky manner. This is our 3rd cruise with Costa so we knew what we were getting and what we would never get with them. The only reason we travel with them is because they drop their price so dramatically in the US market when ...

We are a young couple and this was our first cruise visiting Stockholm, Helsinki, St Petersburg, Tallin, Riga, Klaipedia, Gydnia and Warnemunder (Bornholm cancelled). Overall we had very good impressions of the cruise. We mainly used the ship as a floating hotel and made the most of our days in our ports of call. We did hear people complain about the quality of the ship and service with Costa, ...

I looked forward to this cruise for a very long time - and now it is over since a few months! But it was a very good cruise experience. The Costa Pacifica is in a well condition, also the staff was neat - for example at the guest service center, everyone could help the passengers and of course - some italian women were beautiful. :-) Our waiters in the main restaurant were funny and they ...
