All was good but the food

Port of Miami boarding was fine. Luggage arrive in timely fashion. Everyone we encountered was very nice. Ship is a bit dated but was clean. The process to eat at the buffet was very slow. Lines were very long every day. Especially long waits on island days. The dinning room food was not flavorful and mostly luke warm . We lived on mostly Guys Burger Joint and salads. And were very ...

My husband and I went with my two sons and three granddaughters. We had a wonderful time and would recommend it 100% to anyone, actually, I have. We had a balcony room side by side and were able to unlock the divider on the balcony. The staff for our room was outstanding. So happy and helpful. Eating was of course wonderful. We had all 7 of us at one table every night. Food outstanding, ...

The Glory is on the medium/large size level now, in this mega ship era we are in, but if the airports had half the effencicy Carnival has, they would be ahead. Embarking and debarkation was smooth and short. Tender waits were very bearable, and not an issue at all. The shore excursions were all the top rated places on the ports, and were even cheaper than if you had done it on your own. The Glory ...

9th cruise-2nd on Carnival. I have sailed Royal Caribbean, Holland America, Norwegian and Carnival over the past 20 plus years. I have to say each has it's own style yet all are very similar. I really can't say I favor one over the other that much. I have always received excellent service on all cruises. Yes, like anything in this world, sometimes it might be better at times than others, but ...

One thing - beware of Cabin 6375 if you want to watch a show on prime time tv. Between 9 pm and midnight we could hear the band playing in the casino below us. Odd that it was very loud in our room but muffled in the hallway. Considering I wanted to be near the casino and that I picked this cabin - oh well. We had friends in 6404 and they could hear it too. We just turned up the tv, watched our ...

We were so looking forward to this cruise (for over six months), and we were not disappointed. We were anxious to see the ship because we knew it had recently been in drydock. We were thrilled to see that she had been given a new Seaside Theatre, which we thoroughly enjoyed. New flatpanel TVs had also been added to all cabins. Overall, the ship looked great. As always, Carnival works hard to ...

We book a family cruise for my parents 55th wedding anniversary, mom's 80th birthday and dad's 75th birthday. It had been the first family vacation we had all taken together in nearly 35 years. We were all very excited about it especially since a few of us had been on the Carnival Legend in 2007 and fell in love with the ships and the service. Wow, were we surprised. The service was terrible. I ...

Ok. This was my very first cruise. I spent countless times reading critics, reading the "to bring list"..everything you could possibly do, I done it. Now, for the experience: I arrived at the Glory ship with cash. I heard through reviews that it is better to have cash. There were no separate lines for cash and credit. There was one line. When I got to the counter to get my sail card, since I ...

Cruisers were myself and my husband (both 27, and 5th cruise for us, others were Celebrity and Princess), my parents (2nd cruise, other was the Legend), and my brother/sister-in-law, niece and nephew (their first cruise). Embarkation I found quick and simple, one hour from when we pulled in to when we were at the buffet (about 1:30 pm). Itinerary was Cozumel, Belize, Roatan, Freeport. No shore ...

This was our 2nd cruise (1st with Carnival), Grand Princess being the 1st. After 5 years of being a travel agent I was hesitant to book a Carnival Cruise because of what I'd previously heard about it being a party ship. My husband and I were celebrating our 5th anniversary and my little sister was graduating high school so we took her and my mom along to celebrate both occasions. We were paying ...
