Before I start my review, I want to mention that this cruise was my 15th and my first, and last, with Disney Cruse Line. We went to sail on the Disney Dream departing from Fort Lauderdale on Dec 9 2023. We were a party of 5, 3 adults and 2 kids of 6-7 years old.
Since we didn't do the online check-in, we we able to get on the ship only at around 4PM. Guess without the online check-in had to ...
Took my 8 year old granddaughter on this cruise and she was so excited about it being Disney. We were led to believe that there would be characters to interact with and it would be magical for all ages. First of all if you wanted to see a character it was at scheduled times and you had to get in line and wait sometimes up to 2 hours to get your picture with the character. We were in a very ...
Terribly designed ship. Very small spaces. Elevator size was clearly sacrificed. It’s like cramming people into a horizontal pez dispenser. Buffet is a very old cruising horseshoe layout without enough room for people to pass each other and barely enough for one person yo pass the lines waiting to be served. The more modern self serve open layout with islands on many new ships is much more ...
My Daughter chose to take my Grandchildren on a Disney Cruise, she had the BEST time of her life on the Big Red Boat as a child and wanted her Children to have that kind of Memory.... and we were so disappointed.
We started by buying all of the kids and adults the new Disney + Bands, They never stayed charged (they only last one day when fully charged and then are dead - Bring all of the ...
We have been on many Disney cruises. Our family was excited to try the new ship. We are gold club and our daughters are platinum. We all agreed we would never sail the Wish again. And we won’t sail on the Treasure when it’s launched.
Embarkation was smooth. We boarded at 11:30a. Our luggage didn’t arrive in our room til 5p. The concierge level guests in our party also didn’t receive luggage ...
The ship was beautiful, different then the others in style but still gorgeous. Many staff cast members were great, more then a few aloof.
The old style muster is asking for trouble. We were packed into the venue Luna and made to wait for people who never showed up, it was excruciating.
The adult area was super small and filled up early, the little pool and hot tubs were people soup. Same ...
We have cruised with different cruise lines over the last 15 years. Being a daughter of a Disney fanatic I had to try a Disney cruise for our grandkids.
Let’s start with the positives. Our favorite bar to visit was Soul Cat Lounge. Isasias the Lead bartender is excellent and all of the hosts that work with him are the nicest and most friendly people ever! They really made our trip happy even ...
We are platinum cruisers and have always enjoyed disney cruises. This was our first cruise since the pandemic and so much has changed. Our cabin attendant was the best we ever had. However, the dining service and food was mediocre. The staff was stressed and it took forever to get our food. There was minimal interaction with the servers and they were forgetful. The food has definitely taken a ...
We are family of four 10 year old boy and 10 month boy. The service we received was for sure 5 star. However the food was horrible at ever restaurant. ( did not go to Palo or Remy). The service a little slow but not an issue just the food. I never finish a meal and I tried almost all meals offer between my wife and son. They also did not enjoy the food. It was very much mostly same taste from ...
Took my granddaughters on this very expensive cruise and it was not at all what we expected. The television in the room is very small, there is no water to drink inside cabin, the ship rocks and makes noises all night (regardless of cabin size). On the positive side the bed is comfortable and practical in that you can store the luggage under it. Pillows are decent. Cabin has nice size bathroom ...
