I was on the Disney wish May 2023. This was my third Disney cruise. I’ve done one on the Dream , the Magic and now on the Wish. I have to say that I like this one the least.
I did not like the dining room themes it wasn’t great food or enjoyable dining . The Disney theme dinning rooms were no as special as the other Disney, cruises. The market place, which was the daytime Buffet was ...
We were excited to book on the Disney Wish and hoped it would be like our other experiences on Disney's other ships, we were overall pretty disappointed. We were a party of 6 adults and 4 kids ages 3-6 and are admitted Disney enthusiasts. Embarkation was slow and there really isn't much for kids to do in the cruise terminal.
Once on board the Grand Hall was nice but seemed a little plastic, ...
My husband is a die hard Disney fan and we have done several Disney cruises. This was the latest to add to his collection!
Embarkation was average. There's always a wait to get on Disney even if you are doing a back to back sailing. Larger cruise lines give you the "Royal" treatment and I feel that Disney can learn a few lessons there. I've been on mega ships who have gotten us on and off in ...
We were considering Disney cruise for the kids for a long time, and when finally spent A LOT OF MONEY booking this vacation, I regret every second of my trip. First, we arrived 1 hour late to Bahamas and we lost time of our expensive excursion to Atlantis, and no one offer anything to us for the inconvenience, the excursion was supposed to be around 7 hours, we were there for around 4 hours. ...
The Wish was my second cruise with Disney and it's worth every penny. We went with a family of 7. 7 and 2 year old. Boarding was smooth. The buffet was awesome all kinds of foods. Shrimp, pot stickers, you name it. I have a bad nut allergy they prepared all of my food. Rooms were ready early. We had joining rooms. Never met our room attendant but rooms were always clean. We had an issue with room ...
I have seen lots of negative reviews, but I disagree. I found the ship to be beautifully done, with every single Disney cast member very well trained. Perhaps they've ironed out the wrinkles since they first started.
Personally, I liked that the ship was a bit disjointed. It made it an adventure to find a new nook or bar or area. I did not find that anything seemed incredibly far away, like ...
We are platinum cruisers and have always enjoyed disney cruises. This was our first cruise since the pandemic and so much has changed. Our cabin attendant was the best we ever had. However, the dining service and food was mediocre. The staff was stressed and it took forever to get our food. There was minimal interaction with the servers and they were forgetful. The food has definitely taken a ...
This was our first Disney cruise and it was a lot of fun! We had very high expectations because of the price, of course, and we’re leaving the cruise feeling that most of those were met! The service was of course exemplary, as to be expected. Everyone we met was nice and kind. Of course, this has been our experience on other cruise lines as well.
TIPS- Disney people are outgoing, friendly, but ...
We had an amazing family vacation on the Disney Fantasy. While other cruise lines are cutting back on service, the service on Disney is still top-notch. We sailed in a Deluxe family verandah room on Deck 7 midship and our cabin was immaculate. For a 10+ year old ship, it is still in beautiful condition and the staff works around the clock to maintain it. For comparison, we sailed Thanksgiving ...
We are family of four 10 year old boy and 10 month boy. The service we received was for sure 5 star. However the food was horrible at ever restaurant. ( did not go to Palo or Remy). The service a little slow but not an issue just the food. I never finish a meal and I tried almost all meals offer between my wife and son. They also did not enjoy the food. It was very much mostly same taste from ...
