This started out as a trip to Israel, Egypt, and Turkey. It was changed due to world events and only one of the original ports remaining from the initial itinerary was visited. The ship was lovely, food was good, and service was great. What I would like to do in this review is to share with you a missed opportunity on Celebrity's part to take care of their best customers: Elite members and above. ...
When I booked my cruise to sail on the Celebrity Apex, I was so impressed by the photos and videos of the Infinity Cabins, and the ship in general, that I thought that even if the ship went no where, I would still love the cruise. I would think back on that thought during the cruise and after the cruise ended and I returned home. This cruise was booked as a “10 night Israel, Egypt & Med Cruise”. ...
The Constellation would be great for first time cruisers but repeat guests will notice the changes, cutbacks, price hikes and doubling of the cost of cruises.
All effort now appears to be directed to the new Edge class ships which are fabulous but the rest of the fleet are being left behind.
We cruised on the Constellation in January and again in September/ October 2023 but have cancelled ...
Ship is older but clean and in good working order. It’s an older ship and smaller than some of the newer ones but easy to navigate. Staff is pretty good for the most part. Our room steward and our dining room staff were great. The others were OK except for the bar staff. In general the bars and bar staff are the weakest. Food is actually pretty good. We have been on more than a handful of ...
Went on a 9 day cruise from Athens to Venice with stops in the Greek Islands, Turkiye, Croatia and Italy
Loved most of the stops.
The staff and Crew of the Constellation are wonderful.
The ship on the other hand was a big disappointment
Food was the same every day in the main dining room, The buffet was the same every day
No variety at all. Also, cruising on this ship they try to ...
Overall, we had a nice vacation and trip on the Celebrity Infinity. This ship is definitely older and a pretty standard, mid sized cruise ship. Do not expect any special bells or whistles on this ship. I would like to point out a few things to be aware of:
1. Age of Ship: I have seen some note that the ship was recently refurbished, but if it did, I did not see it. There was lots of visible ...
We chose this cruise due to all the Greek ports that we wanted to visit.
Embarkation was ok, miss the medallion of princess.
Food is not the greatest. The aqua and retreat guest get a much better menu. Menu in the main dining room is less than 2 stars. Fish includes Cajun Spiced Drum, Tilapia of which is mostly farmed and you don’t want to know what they feed farmed raised Tilapia. As I ...
This was our first Celebrity cruise and was chosen to accommodate other companions’ time issues and by virtue of an interesting itinerary.
First some good things: Main dining dinners were all good and service there was good. Vast majority of staff were very friendly and accommodating. Our party included one six-year-old and the ship had a great “camp at sea” program run by an exceptional crew ...
This last June we went on the maiden voyage of the Celebrity Apex out of Athens. My wife and I have been on well over 10 cruises on Celebrity and we were VERY disappointed about changes incorporated into the newest Celebrity ship class. First the positives!
1. The new running/walking track was fabulous! The idea of changing levels was excellent.
2. I found the main pool on the Apex to be ...
We wanted a cruise of the Greek Islands and the Infinity has a wonderful itinerary to see the islands as well as Israel. The ports of call were exactly what we were looking for. Israel was a very good stop and if anyone were to ask me I would say Israel is very safe and well worth visiting.
It was the itinerary that brought us to Infinity. I have sailed two other Celebrity ships the Summit ...
