Best part was getting off the ship

Firstly it reeked. It smells of sewage. The water they serve smells like sewage. Out of the 5 days we were cruising I can tell you I only had 1-2 decent meals. Bread served at every meal was hard and old. Food was always served cold. The buffet and dinning were the worst and least edible. We literally ate out of necessity. I can't even recommend food. Bring your own snacks and mostly survive on ...

The first day was as expected very busy with getting people on and off the ship. Met our steward Juan who was AMAZING. The cruise director (Alex) was also fun himself. Our stateroom was nice we had a mini suite big enough for the two of us that went. The VIP Blue Lagoon excursion in Nassau was AMAZING (for adults only). Thats were all the positive comments end. The sewage smell on this cruise was ...

Yes it was a great price for a suite with other spiffs thrown in. However, Dorian did cause issues. Were were not contacted with final details until 6pm the day before the cruise. Had to be at Jacksonville port between 2 and 6 pm. We would park at Jacksonville port and take a 2.5 hour bus ride port carnival and the cruise would end at Jacksonville port. Okay, not a major deal for us because we ...

We found this cruise and the price was pretty cheap for a short getaway. The ship is in pretty good shape for her age. I want to add that I was all over the ship for five days and never smelled sewage once. We were in cabin U90, a Grand Suite with extended balcony. The dining room and buffet food was less than average. The saving grace was Guy's Burgers and The Blue Iguana. Both are great. We only ...

The ship was built in 1991. This wouldn't be relevant except for the fact that the whole ship stinks. In every area during any time of the day or night there would be a sewer smell. In our cabin, off and on there would be the smell of a skunk smoking a cigarette. No kidding. Distinct skunk smell pumped in through the air conditioning vent. We were on the 11th floor and still had the sewer smell ...

Chose this cruise due to its close proximity to our home. I wish beyond wishes I would have read reviews before booking. As soon as we walked on boat my husband and I looked at each other in horror. The smell is so overwhelming. Complete and utter sewage smell ALL the time. The boat felt so unclear as it is outdated, old, rusty etc. I could barely sleep...it felt like I was sleeping in an RV ...

So, the Carnival Ecstasy.........heard it called a lot of things: 1. Rust Bucket 2. bad 1970's Porn decor 3. falling apart 4. dirty and smelly Honestly all those are true, except the smelly part - we have no bad olfactory distress on our cruise. The Carnival Ecstasy is an old ship. It looks unpleasing and could use a serious makeover. Its true the interior decor looks like a ...

We cannot tell you how excited we were to leave on 1/6/19. We were eloping, taking our first cruise, and my soon-to-be husband was leaving the country for the first time. His name is Brandon. That'll be in important here in a second. We get ready on the morning of the 9th for our wedding and go to the library to have our ceremony. The officiant is reading a manual on how to perform weddings ...

The cruise was great, the ship was great. Bermuda was a great place, everything was a little expensive. The ship was originally supposed to be in port 3 nights, but for some reason we had to leave one day at 3 and return to port the next morning at 930, so that really took away one of your nights in Bermuda. The food and dinning room service was great. Room service was good, Guys Burgers have the ...

Old ship, not enough staff/crew, don’t book this ship

Not my first cruise, so I expected of few things to not be perfect. This ship should be retired! We had an extended balcony suite, so size was great, but bathroom was being held together with a poor caulk job. Curtains were torn and overall appearance was worn out. Rust stains on ceiling above bed were gross. Ship hasn’t been updated in a very long time. I heard a passenger say it looked retro, I ...
