The Carnival Horizon is beautiful ship, Staff was Amazing, but it is missing a few marks as it pertains to adults. We missed the Jamaica port of call on our Sailing due to inclement weather and although there are plenty of activities throughout the ship. When trying to get away from the kiddos for a while and relax in serenity we noticed there is not an adults only pool within serenity or anywhere ...
Just got off the Carnival Horizon april 2024. I have been on other Carnival cruises in the past and this was a shock. Carnival is not a cruise ship, it is drunken party boat. The atmosphere on the ship makes you wonder if some of the passengers had ever been taught manners. Carnival has cut so many corners that they have gone down hill fast. The ship is not kept clean. Walking around you see more ...
My recent voyage aboard the Carnival Cruise Dream from April 6th to 14th was a rollercoaster of experiences, ranging from delightful surprises to disappointing letdowns.
Let's start with the positives. Among the sea of mediocrity, two stars shone brightly. Dewa, our room attendant, embodied excellence in customer service. His attention to detail and friendly demeanor made our stay memorable. ...
Amazing First time on a cruise ship. The experience was fascinating, incredible, AWESOME. There was a endless variety of food and drinks. The shops and entertainment were reasonable, mind-blowing, and intriguing. Always something to do, something to explore. Never a dull moment. I really loved that there was a "Friends of Bill W. " that I could attend. Housekeeping was great. The friendliness, ...
I recently embarked on my first ever cruise with Carnival Cruise Line aboard the Sunrise Ship, and I feel compelled to share my feedback about this experience. Unfortunately, my overall impression of the cruise was quite underwhelming, and I have several concerns that I would like to address.
Firstly, the spa services on the ship were not up to par. I had high expectations for a relaxing and ...
I took my teenage grandkids and we all had a blast. From food to fun in the sun on deck to the beaches and excursions. It was all just great and I would do it all over again. The staff are friendly and the ship was clean and comfortable. We even experienced a storm at sea and had to miss a port of call, but we spent an extra day at another port and had a great time anyway. We will be going again ...
Ship smelled like cigarettes and pot. The only workers that were nice to us were the person cleaning our cabin and our server. Almost every night there was people dosing off by the pool because they had too much to drink. Deffenetly not family friendly. The Only fun we had was when we got off the ship at Bimini and Nassau. I wish we would have had more time at the ports. Bimini was lots of fun. ...
Dining - When I booked the cruise, I had selected "Anytime Dining" but was actually assigned an 8:15 pm reservation for each night of the cruise. I didn't realize my dining reservation had changed until I went to one of the dining rooms and was told I had to come back at 8:15 pm because that is what is printed on the Sail and Sign Card. AT first, I thought I had made an error in booking and blew ...
And my 1st 5-star rating in all my years of cruising goes to... this ship! Congratulations, Carnival!
Boarding time didn't start until around 11AM, but once we were on board, we were amazed by how uniquely beautiful this iconic Costa ship was. Even though the classic Costa tail remained, much of the decorations were inspired by Italy, especially in the main atrium area and Canal Grande ...
Overall a good value for the money as it was an easy drive into the city. The ship was clean and maintained well inside and out.
We enjoyed sitting outside on deck five in the various areas. On sea days there was a lack of quiet places to relax and chat. I really enjoyed the staff at the Amari Bar…Shout out to Vlad, Jennifer and Jefferson for being artists of mixology!
Food was good, not ...
