Carnival Bahamas Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Decent first or second cruise

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Elation

I chose this cruise because it was affordable and it fit my week of scheduled vacation. Almost everything was as I expected it to be based on my last cruise. This ship had the exact same lay out as the last cruise so it was very easy to navigate this ship. Embarkation and debarkation went extremely smoothly, however I was able to take an Uber to the cruise terminal but they refused to let Uber ...

chose this trip for convenience and price i guess....i can't recommend this ship......needs a remodeling, badly. the smell of raw sewage near the end was sickening, of course, and.should never be allowed. the bedding was beyond worn out. it was our third cruise with carnival in twelve months and overall we enjoyed the first two more. I've found carnivals crews to be friendly and hard working, ...

Great First Cruise

This was our first cruise, we are a couple in our mid 40's. We choose this cruise based on the date, departure port, and the cost. We had a great time! Our cabin and bathroom were plenty roomy. It was kept neat and clean by Eugene. The food was plentiful and very good. We enjoyed the shows and everyone we came in contact was super nice and helpful. We did not book any excursion. Next time ...

Birthday cruise with sisters, First time I had mobility issues after 14 cruises. Staff and most of the passengers couldn't have been more helpful with my scooter anxiety. First time in a long time we stayed on Rivera Deck, my sister loved it, as she could walk up the steps to casino and smoke. Room 1221. Very attentive cabin staff. Dining room staff amazing. Only one grouch on whole ...

First and foremost the staff on board this ship are AMAZING!!!! The Cruise Director Matt and COOKIE of the funship team deserve an honorable mention for keeping the FUN flowing on this cruise. They made the trip FUN!!! The ship itself is great. Italian restaurant (except for that double portion business when people ordered the same thing) was good, the Seafood Shack is an AMAZING addition to ...

I am glad I waited to write this review after cruising in December of 2017 on Carnival as it gave me a lot more perspective. In November of 2016, I took my adult children and grandchild on our first cruise ever, so excited to be among the first to cruise on the Carnival Vista out of Miami. Embarkation - long, long lines out the doors. Took about 3 hours to board. Cabin - 4 of us in a ...

For our second cruise to the Bahamas we chose to again sail from Charleston SC because it is convenient to our golf condo. it is easy to get to the port in Charleston and the procedure for embarking is rather straightforward and simple. Our ship was the Carnival Ecstasy. Once on board the ship we learned that we should have very carefully read all the fine print on-line and noticed what was ...

Picked this cruise because I could drive to Baltimore instead of a plane ride at awful times. Comics and trivia games were top notch. Room service sucked with limited choices (no eggs for breakfast) twice nothing was delivered. Can't comment on the music for the younger crowd but for the 50 plus the only choice was country at every venue and it was mediocre at best. Very clean everywhere. The ...

Pleasantly Surprised but Not Awed

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Pride

Having taken almost 30 cruises and none on Carnival, we decided to try Carnival to see if some of the negative comments we heard were true. We were pleasantly surprised, but not awed. Food was better than expected and we did not see a large number of inebriated passengers. We were disappointed in the entertainment. Game shows are not the type of evening entertainment we are used to ...
