Zuiderdam I sailed from Bergen to NYC.Sailing through Hermine the captain made the correct call missing Nova Scotia and head for NYC. I enjoyed the city for a full day.Hop on hop off for$64.00 with ferry. We actually didn't sail on that date as we didn't sail at all and I wanted to share my experience of the customer service you should expect when your cruise gets cancelled by Hurtigruten. My mother was informed of the cancellation when she was about to board the plane to Norway. Not only she spent the whole time crying and worrying, but no alternative was provided. Left out of Bayonne, NJ. Since this was one of it's earlier runs, they still need to work on a few things. This was our first cruise, so the slight embarking problems weren't a problem for us.
