Yacht Club fails to deliver for children and us

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Seaview

My four children shared two cabins on the MSC Seaview in the Yacht Club so they weren’t bunking in with us. We were assured by MSC that “everything” was included. They couldn’t stress this enough. Yet they can’t get icecreams, or have any free inclusions in the games arcade. As they can’t drink the included alcohol this seems unreasonable. The staff are lovely and the rooms whilst not big are ...

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on MSC World Europa

We have been on five cruises with NCL and once with Royal Caribbean we thought we would try a Mediterranean cruise on MSC World Europa. After reading varying reviews, many of them negative, we decided to go ahead with booking the cruise. Big mistake! For the first two days we were enjoying ourselves exploring the ship and sampling the food. From then on we started to realise that for such a huge ...

Embarkation was very organized and fairly quick.. The cruise ship is very impressive and modern.. We had an outside cabin with a terrace on Deck 10, The lift system is very good.. The Food was extremely poor and staff run off their feet.. Not able to give the service we paid for.. The restaurants and Buffet was ear piercingly noisey, not helped by an estimated 2000 kids under 5.. The ...

HORRIBLE, RACIST, SEXIST.

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Seaview

MSC Seaview - HORRIBLE, RACIST, SEXIST. MSC Cruise line is horrible. It was a waste of my time and money. Dealing with the reception and excursion staff is a little difficult because the communication with the MSC head office is not good, therefore lots of the staff don’t even know what’s going on. My assumption is that the problem is corporate and a lack of training. The cleaning and waitstaff ...

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Grandiosa

After two years without vactions due to Covid. I Booked through an online agent MSC Grandiosa last february 2023. Big mistake, but wasn’t yet aware of that. I made sure to inform that my son is autistic, no one took care of that, long lines, not quiet tables. Nothing. The service, waiters, room service were great. The people in the reception (5th deck) were just incompetent. 3 times I ...

Mediocre low quality cruise

We chose this cruise because of Europe circuit. The only good thing was the embarkation and disembarkation in Barcelona, fast and organized. Nothing else is good about this cruise. We travelled before couple of times with MSC before the pandemic but this company cares more about the money than tourists or safety. No hygiene whatsoever, only 1 staff holding a spray bottle to spray hands ( only if ...

Chose this cruise to try and sample MSC. Price was good. The ship was stunning but that’s about all that was. Below is mainly cons but there are some pros. In a nutshell we do not feel MSC stack up against any previous cruises we’ve done. As soon as we got on the ship I felt as if we were being attacked by staff trying to sell us meal and drink upgrades. It was a real hassle. The service ...

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on MSC Seaview

I'm a very experienced cruiser, with more than 40 cruises, sailed with all big companies, etc, and cruised before with MSC. I only bought this Atlantic crossing (Barcelona/Rio de janriro) because i thought was really a good price, US 3000 + 500 US onboard credit for a Suite with Aurea experience. Check-in were smooth , although in my reservation and MSC app the embarkation time was ...

Huge ship, filled about 50%, breakfast & lunch below average, dinner ok

Family with 2 kids (10+12), Fantastica cabin category. The ship had only 50% utilization, but the buffet-restaurants were absolut full! Too many people, bad service, food was below average. Dinner was nice, food was ok, on the service-managment they could also work more! We expected much more than this for the price… Embarkation was well done organized: from arriving to arriving ...
