Fantastic transatlantic cruise!

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Azamara Onward

This was our second Azamara cruise and it was wonderful. This was a transatlantic cruise and we encountered some rough water. Nobody’s fault. We still had a fantastic time! The ship was beautiful and very clean. The food was amazing! The entertainment was beyond fabulous, thanks I’m sure to Eric the Entertainment Director. The shows were way better on Onward than on Quest last year. The crew ...

Having been on large and river boat previous cruises we decided to opt for a medium size line and Azamara Onward fitted the bill. We had a truly wonderful holiday and would recommend the cruise line 100%. Everything about it was perfect. We cannot praise the Staff enough - helpful, enthusiastic, friendly. All good. The catering was excellent. The entertainment was first rate. No complaints at ...

Nice Cruise, not the luxury they market

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Azamara Onward

We decided to take the 12 days trans Atlantic crossing on the Onward. This was out 14th cruise, 5 or which was on Azamara, and 3 were on the Onward. I didn't expect cruise on Azamara again since the last two Onward cruises were just average at best. But with the past cruise credits we had and the good price on the repositing of the board, we decided to cruise with them one more time. My ...

We have cruised with Azamara several times in the past , and have always had a great experience ! And this , was no different ! This was a 9 night crossing from Lisbon to Bridgetown, Barbados , one stop in Madeira . From the outset , we received excellent service. We checked in leisurely at Lisbon, and boarded the ship in time for lunch. Staterooms were ready from about 1.30pm and our ...

Overall excellent cruise with some issues

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Azamara Journey

The staff, cuisine and ability for the ship to enter all ports owing to it's size, were truly excellent. The entertainment was a standout especially as regards the external talent. The Azamara troupe was full of xing but not always great individual singing talent. That said...as a troupe they were just fine and the Cruise Directors excellent. Yes the ship is in need of some TLC as it has clearly ...

Stellar Sail On a Reborn Ship

Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on Azamara Onward

The short story is we had a great cruise. We've sailed with Azamara one other time and this is about our 35th cruise overall. We've done small all the way up to mega-sized ships. There's pros/cons to them all and we enjoy all the experiences with some big differences between them. Azamara's advantages are known. The overnights. The Azamazing Evenings. Their ability to get close in on many ...

Azamara Onward Cruise Was Excellent

This was our first cruise with Azamara and sixth overall. The ship returned to the fleet after an overhaul in May 2022. Veranda cabins are 176 square feet but adequate. There were about 590 on board with a crew of 400. We boarded in Lisbon in a very efficient fashion. Orientation was quick and smooth. We went to our cabin and then directly to the pool bar Deck 9 mid-ship. The Windows Cafe buffet ...

Very good, but not outstanding, voyage from Lisbon to Barcelona

We got a late deal at a good price - booked an Inside Guarantee. We were pleased to have a complimentary cabin upgrade. We enjoyed the cruise and benefited from fine weather throughout. We were pleasantly surprised by the outstanding condition of the ship despite having no major refit for 7 years. Embarkation and disembarkation was smooth. We appreciated being able to upload the key personal ...

This was our first time on Azamara. Friends of ours who went with us on this cruise, had sailed with them before and they spoke very highly of the line. Our itinerary was from Lisbon to Barcelona and was 9 nights in length. We tacked on a couple of extra days on each end of the trip and made it a full two weeks. It was such a different experience from the mega ships, several of which we have ...

This is our feedback on the cruise we booked onboard following our 2022 France intensive cruise. This time it's Spain intensive (Lisbon to Barcelona). Since we only sail Azamara it's an Azamara 2022 V Azamara 2023 comparison. Once again, we sailed on the Journey and, as previously, the ship sailed and arrived exactly as scheduled in each port and in every case appeared to have the best berth ...
