Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Azamara Onward

Small friendly ship. Food was very good - never had a problem selecting something and it always came up hot. Service was also very good. The host knew our name after the first night at the MDR. Breakfast and lunch buffet was also very good - different selections every day for lunch. We enjoyed the 'Living Room' bar and piano music. Different 'theme' music most nights - nice atmosphere and a ...

Not pleased with the performance of staff.

Although the food is incredible, the service is extremely slow and low quality. If you are someone who enjoys poolside service, this cruise is not for you because the average time I waited for a drink was roughly 45 minutes to an hour, and they consistently get your order wrong. The average time for all of our food to come in the dining room was roughly 2.5 hours and I have had staff roll their ...

We sailed Azamara in 2015, from Hong Kong to Singapore, and it was a 4.5-star experience. The crew was fabulous, attentive, and treated us like royalty. They knew what we liked to drink, where we liked to sit in the dining room, and whom we liked to sit with, after only after a few days. The food was excellent, and overall we had an incredible trip. Fast forward to 2023, we just got off the ...

This reports on an Azamara cruise in December, Miami to Miami, on the Azamara Onward. We have been loyal Azamara customers (more than 20 cruises on the line), but are at the point of finding other options. The pluses remain: Wonderful service and relatively competitive pricing. So do the minuses (incompetent reservations staff) and some new ones (seriously declining food quality). On the ...

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Azamara Onward

I chose this 12-day Azamara Onward cruise at the recommendation of friends who have previously traveled with Azamara, and because of its reputation as a luxury line. Sadly, this was not my experience. Pre-departure information was not sent by email as promised (other cruises that I have been on mail luggage tags, etc.). I finally called customer service and was told that the info was emailed to ...

We haven't cruised in 3 years due to the pandemic. We knew Azamara is a class act. We had no idea they have gotten even better. We are literally happy with everything. The clientele is as genteel as you can get. No riff raff who got on with some kind of discount. Unless you choose a pricey cruise there is ALWAYS riff raff. The food is excellent and they are very health oriented now, very ...

My husband and I were on the Azamara Journey for this 12 day Caribbean cruise. I will tell you some of my observations without repeating what others have posted. Transportation: We started in Fort Lauderdale and had to find a way to get to Miami. SAS Transportation was not able to help us. I reserved Michael Rozenbaum, www.US1TransportationService.com. He showed up, on time, in an immaculately ...
