This was our first trans Atlantic cruise and our longest (30days Greece to Argentina)
I have Cpap machine and it requires distilled water. Prior to sailing I requested distilled water but that request was not fulfilled. Once on board, I made another request. The medical staff provide 1 liter of distilled water, which may last 5-7 days

We sailed 3 legs from Athens to Sydney over 44 days and we could not fault anything about this ship. So much so even after so long we did not want to get off. This was our second cruise with Virgin Voyages. What we most love about Virgin cruise :
1. Adults only
2. No pesky photographers
3. The restaurants and quality of the food served.
4. Free ice cream
5. No beverage packages

We just returned from a 26-day TA from Athens to Fort Lauderdale; actually a 12-day Mediterranean to Barcelona and a 14-day transatlantic crossing to FL. HAL sold it as a single 26-day cruise but the second 14-day leg was much cheaper so many got on in Barcelona for TA. Unfortunately the weather prompted the captain to cancel Cadiz and Portugal. We have just experienced six weeks cruising on the NCL Star chosen for the itinerary. The refurbished ship is basic, clean. and most staff are friendly. Staterooms are about 1/2 the size of a standard hotel room; comfortable with basic amenities, but not very soundproof. The itinerary was perfect for us giving us a chance to see Athens before sailing then 3 days in Israel docked in Haifa. The size of the cabin and Oceania's reputation aided in the decision.
