I sometimes think some people are so critical that they are determined to find fault at any cost. This ship is so beautiful it is like walking through a lovely work of art.Every area is so elegant, comfortable and so carefully designed that you cannot help be impressed. We had flights with Ba from Heathrow T5-outbound was delayed by an hour as was the flight from Manchester-even so embarkation was ...

First I will start by saying my wife and I are travel agents whom when on any cruise we look at it from the point of view, could we place a client on this ship or this cruiseline, with confidence? We do compare with other cruiselines and with what the cruiseline is portraying in their pre-cruise advertising, basically "will my client receive the treatment that (in this case) Cunard is ...

Just returned from a 7 night cruise from Athens calling at Istanbul, Volos and Mykonos. Usually sail with Seabourn, friends suggested Queens Grill as a comparison. Big mistake. Cabin nice (Queens suite at back of vessel) but suffered from vibration, very surprising. Our butler multi tasked, yellow gloves for the toilet cleaning one minute, white gloves to deliver the caviar next minute - ...

The trip started with a kindly gentleman noticing my wife and I looked out of place and confused. He offered advice, answered questions and made us feel very welcomed. As the trip progressed we found the entire crew possessed the same attitude. The accommodations were excellent. The activities were excellent and the tours provided were well organized. The best part of the trip however was the ...

Athens to Athens Cruise July 4, 2014 A very Happy 4th of July!!! My first cruise on a large ship was fabulous! We had a smooth check in and our bags were sent to our stateroom. The cabin was spacious for the three of us; two adults and a pre-teen. We had enjoyed the balcony and sat out only in the early morning with our coffee. I enjoyed the fitness center and met my family for breakfast in ...

Although a regular 'Cunarder' this was my first time on the QE. My son and I booked it very last minute as it was his birthday during the 7 night stay. I was a bit dubious about doing fly cruise, as I live fairly near to Southampton and the thought of flying did not fill me with joy. However on a positive note, one the pain of airports and transfers was out of the way and we arrived onboard it was ...

We have just had a wonderful time on the Queen Elizabeth and here are a few thoughts and tips to enjoy it as much as us. We got a late deal fly cruise from Manchester from the ice house and the plane was aTitan Air charter. No problems apart from slow check in. Easy flight too as well as excellent transfer to port then very speedy embarkation. Inside cabin was lovely as we normally do balconies ...

As loyal Cunard Gold members my wife and I have enjoyed cruises on all three of the Queens over the last few years and have just returned from the QE's Eastern Med trip. The usual high standards expected from Cunard were still there with a few shortcomings but the superb weather made up for any small niggles. We travelled as Britannia Club members this time but whilst the enhanced dining ...

First, how brilliant the Elizabeth was - service, food, entertainment - various reviews said entertainment was not up to scratch - it was. Steaks were superb not tough and the fish and seafood good. A great time. Room service was excellent for teas and snacks. Cabin (aka stateroom) was very comfortable, clean and well equipped. Some ports of destination were dreadful - Heraklion and Messina to ...

A wonderful cruise that exceeded our expectations in every way! The ship is beautifully maintained by a very solicitous crew, and our steward, the dining staff, and entertainment crew were wonderful. Cunard offered a good variety of excursions for each stop, ranging from energetic hikes through ancient ruins to pastoral scenic bus rides, meaning there was something for everyone. We booked our ...
