Celebrity is losing it’s sparkle
"Celebrity have cutback on all the little extras that set them apart from other cruise lines- tote bags for Aqua class, free bottles of water in the staterooms, now charging extra for lobster and premium steaks in the main restaurant, reduced drinks choices in all bars, never having full stock of wines and beers on the menu even on the first sailing day even the privacy nets are missing from the windows and Do not Disturb notices from doors. The positives with all Celebrity cruises are the staff who are pleasant, professional and helpful even though very understaffed and the Blu restaurant was the best thing about the ship- excellent staff, food and wine...."Read More

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Celebrity Constellation

(French below) My partner and I, part of an organized group (Voyage Louise Drouin) of 20 travelers, really enjoyed our first cruise aboard a Celebrity ship. Everything was perfect: excellent and abundant food, varied and clean common areas. Top-of-the-line service. Note that nothing is offered in French on board (unilingual English in all communications and activities), which can certainly ...

The Constellation would be great for first time cruisers but repeat guests will notice the changes, cutbacks, price hikes and doubling of the cost of cruises. All effort now appears to be directed to the new Edge class ships which are fabulous but the rest of the fleet are being left behind. We cruised on the Constellation in January and again in September/ October 2023 but have cancelled ...

Went on a 9 day cruise from Athens to Venice with stops in the Greek Islands, Turkiye, Croatia and Italy Loved most of the stops. The staff and Crew of the Constellation are wonderful. The ship on the other hand was a big disappointment Food was the same every day in the main dining room, The buffet was the same every day No variety at all. Also, cruising on this ship they try to ...

My son is turning 50 and my granddaughter is turning 18. We wanted to do something really special and booked this 9 day cruise out of Athens. We were 6 all together and even though the Connie is old, it had the perfect itinerary that included Santorini, Mykonos, Rhodes, Ephesus, Kotor and supposedly ended in Venice ( at time of booking). I book through the Casino and they gave me a concierge ...

First but not last cruise with Celebrity. Have cruised before on MSC and decided to try Celebrity. Got a good deal and booked balcony cabin. Cabin is nice. Yes, you can see that it is not new, but everything is working fine and it was spotless clean.Balcony was great. We were in 7180, which had a much larger balcony than others. Location was great, in aft satrboard side and with cabins over ...

My wife said Celebrity had best service. IT FAILED big time. Chose this cruise for Israel ports. Aqua class=waste of money. Cabin same size. Private dining room had poor amount of servers-35 tables 5 servers. Menu left a lot to be desired. Not compatible with the added cost for the cabin. Rarely extraordinary selection. Most as found in casual restaurants. Items listed on menus only ...

The stateroom was chosen on our previous cruise using Celebrity future cruise . We were meticulous in choosing the cabin. It was A1 Aqua. 1124 . The constellation dry docked in March 2017 and added a movie theatre on deck twelve right above this stateroom. Which was NOT shown on the deck plans when we booked . The noise from the movie theatre is incesant you cannot sit on your balcony without ...

BLU restaurant - Poor foods and menu selection are limited, and very ... very slow service, We need at least 2 to 2 1/2 hour to finish a meal !!!! Very disappointed !!!! Some days we rather go to the Oceanview restaurant to have our dinner just to save time and better foods. Our Aqua class cabin was clean and nice, the stateroom attendant was friendly and professional. The staff at the ...

I wanted to go to Israel for many years and this cruise offered 2 ports and an overnight. Celebrity Constellation offered this itinerary. WE had sailed on the Connie twice before. The ship has always been well maintained. It is an attractive ship inside and out. The service from the crew - amazing. Our cabin was a balcony forward this time. I really enjoyed the spectacular views from it. Our ...

I have been on many cruises (over 85) and this is the most BORING cruise that I have ever taken. I am VERY disappointed with Celebrity and do not plan to sail them again. Our cruise from Athens to Abu Dhabi had many sea days. I love sea days because there are generally many daytime activities to keep me busy. I am not talking about the junk "seminars" which are actually infomercials to sell ...
