We chose this cruise as it was a good deal, and had wanted to try the Carnival Spirit.

Embarkation was very quick and efficient. The cabin was comfortable. Our cabin steward was helpful and had a quiet gentleness about him.

We chose late dining in the dining room, which was the highlight of our cruise as every night the talented dining staff provided entertainment before the meal finished, and encouraged all the diners to join in. Great fun. The wait staff at our table were excellent, making us feel like special family. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The food areas on deck 9 were all quite good, especially the salad bar which had a very good variety of lovely fresh salads and tasty sauces and mayonnaise in many flavours. The BBQ on 10 was delicious. We did not try any specialty dining as the included food was all very good.

Cabin 4A

As we were on the lowest deck of the ship and inside, we were not sure how it would be, but it was quiet and we would not hesitate in choosing this area again. It also gave us much needed exercise using the stairs to decks 9 and 10, and not using the lifts at all.
