Hands down that best cruise experience ever. The ship was extrememly clean. Hand sanitizer everywhere and encouraged before entering dining rooms. Food varied and very tasty. Entertainment was fun and now I know, next cruise, sleep in most of the morning because most of the entertainment is nightly to late night. It seemed as though the casino had alot of winners. I put one dollar in the 2 cent slots and won $60. I saw a man win $1700 on slots and a gal win $500. The tables seemed to be paying as well. Only questionable thing that happend was when I bought our soda package, we were charged 18% for tips. The package is advertised online for $8.50 per day, but after 18% it is $10.03 a day. I thought we already paid for someone to pour a drink in daily gratuities. Perhaps, I am mistaken. I wouldn't mind if that was the dollar amount posted in all the promotional materials I read online. Also, I called to see if I could bring water on the ship. I was told no, but other people did. However, Royal always had fresh water available to anyone at any time at a restaurant or bar, with cups to use. Had I known that, I would not have bought the soda package. Good to know for future cruises. All crew members were professional and friendly. Ports and excurions very organized. Easy on and off the ship. I wish Labadee was a longer day. We did excursions in Jamaica and Mexico that lasted the whole time in port. I think next cruise, we will either choose shorter excursions OR just wing it without an excursion so we may venture out to learn the culture on our own. Thank you Royal!!

Cabin Review

Central Park View Stateroom with Balcony

I am usually claustrophobic, but this room was huge compared to others we have stayed in. We had a room next to the kids. Though we did not have internal adjoining doors, we did have the door opened on the balconies which allowed us to walk back and forth. We had a balcony over Central Park. We enjoyed hearing the birds in the morning and violins in the evening. Still would have preferred an ocean view balcony as the ship is so big and steady it was easy to forget you were even on a ship. Room service by Brian was excellent.
