About 1 year ago, 10 of us booked a 7 night cruise on Legend of the Seas, from Hong Kong to Singapore for a reunion. A couple of weeks later we were contacted to say the cruise was cancelled, as the ship was being sold. We were offered an 8 night cruise on Voyager, from Singapore to Hong Kong, at no extra cost. We then booked and paid for hotels and flights. Nothing to do but look forward to our reunion. A few weeks later an email from our agent informed us that our cruise had been cancelled!!!!! Two cruises cancelled, this doesn't happen. We were offered a 4 night cruise from Singapore to Singapore, and a 3 night cruise from Singapore to Singapore. Back to back cruises to nowhere. The only compensation we received was an extra $200 cabin credit each, and our agent had to work hard to get that. RCI did pay for our airfares and an extra nights accommodation in Hong Kong. We had no option but to accept the cruise to nowhere, as we would have done our money by cancelling flights and accommodation. RCI didn't care they had shafted us. Take it or leave it. No one in their right mind would've booked these 2 cruises back to back.

Once we were in our cabin, we found the safe and fridge didn't work, soap dish was hanging off the wall in the shower, and after a couple of days we noticed the water in the shower and hand basin was yellow. The safe was replaced, the soap dish repaired, but nothing could be done about the water.

The food in the MDR was very average, so we ate in specialty restaurants after that. The food and service in these restaurants was fantastic, but an added cost on the cruise to no where.
