Cabin: Signature Superior Verandah Suite

First time to Alaska, which was stunningly gorgeous. Embarkation does not offer a separate line for suites, but went smoothly. Disembarkation was a breeze, going from cabin to departure gate at SEA in less than one hour.

Dining room food was delicious, and reasonable portion sizes made it easy to pick all the choices you wanted. Service in the dining room was excellent but slowly paced, if that's not your thing Lido buffet had similar selections each evening. Reservations often weren't available between 6p-8p, but lines were short and a table for two could be had.

Main stage entertainment was great, with great performances, quality costumes and popular songs through HAL's Billboard partnership.

Cabin Review

Signature Superior Verandah Suite

Cabin SS

Great cabin with a little extra space both inside and on the balcony. However, you are not able to see out of balcony door from some parts of the cabin, so if you love to gaze at the sea from the bed this may not be for you.

The TV was very large, and USB ports by the bed made it easy to charge devices overnight.

Port Reviews

Seattle

Seattle is busier now than it used to be, but it's compact and easy to get around with lots of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
