We chose the Arcadia because of the itinerary it offered there were many places we had not visited, we have cruised extensively with other lines and had an outstanding experience but this ranks as the worst. After reading other comments I can only agree the ship is littered with stained upholstery and carpets and a smell of sewage is present most of the time, when the public toilets were working (mostly not) they overflowed sinks were blocked etc they blame people putting foreign objects down them but that can't be a problem perpetually as comments here prove, we had dripping ceilings with buckets etc. Jacuzzis were always roped off and just everything looked tired including the staff who looked thoroughly demoralised in the Meridian buffet they were surly and unsmiling, did not give way to passengers expecting them to move out of the way, tables weren't always wiped after cleaning and the cold meats buffet resembled a jumble sale, and the buffet menu was uninspiring, although outside around the pool there were better options.

In the main dining room the staff were exceptional although overstretched they couldn't do enough for us and the menu was good and we would recommend this venu for breakfast also as it saves the problem of searching for tables etc upstairs and the food for breakfast here and in the buffet was good

Large Inside Stateroom with Shower

Cabin OA

Cabin was tired stained carpet. We were impressed with our steward although he did have an awful lot of work but the standards he provided were excellent
