We wanted to travel through the Panama Canal. The consultant that talked to us as we were going through was excellent. We liked the fact that we could view from the big screen in the Atrium, go outside on the 12-14th floors, as well as the 8th floor sun deck which is usually closed as it is for the crew.

Nadeen, the hypnotist was excellent. She was entertaining and had serious sessions also. We attended all of them. She even updated my programs for free ( I had purchased on another cruise).

The two Professors who lectured about our ports were very disappointing. One slide presentation was from 2007. The film they showed on the Panama Canal was the most meaningful. I told Jasper, the Social Director my concerns. No depth on the history or culture of the ports of call were included. They talked down to a group of very seasoned travelers with instructions like do not take drugs and make sure you use sunscreen.

Our cabin was spotless and spacious. Rodrigo Laag, our steward knew our names the first day and always greeted us. He kept our room immaculate, providing extra ice for my sore knees. His towel creations brought a smile to our faces every night. The location on the 8th deck was ideal. We had some rough weather but it was not so noticeable on the eighth deck.
