We chose this cruise because it was a great price, a good amount of days to try out for a first cruise, and I am glad we did. The ports weren't amazing (Baja California), but the boat was. So we spent two hours in Catalina and 1.5 hours in Ensenada. We then returned the boat where we had things to ourselves, like the adult serenity deck. I got a ton of relaxation in, which was my ultimate goal, added with some fun times. The staff was top notch. I swear we had the best dinner staff on the whole ship. The staff was the highlight of the cruise, our room steward was awesome, dinner was great. My only complaint: the serenity deck for adults needs to be bigger!!! MUCH bigger. And it needs its own bar. The deck was always too full to really enjoy. The hot tubs were always full. There is a shortage of hot tubs on the ship as a whole. Otherwise, we were very happy. The food they serve you at dinner, etc., is better than the buffet food. Entertainment was about what I expected. I would go again if I were able to secure the awesome price.

Cabin Review

Interior

Cabin 4E

We put 4 women in an interior room on Deck 7 (no window). This was surprisingly not terrible. In fact, we never felt too cramped.... they had the beds situated in such a way that we had ample floor space when the two top bunks were folded up. Room was clean and nice, very comfy bed.

Port Reviews

Catalina Island (California)

Lack of beaches unless you venture way out. We rented a golf cart, it was fun, took an hour, had lunch, enjoyed the scenery for a short time, got back on the boat where the real fun was.

Ensenada

Not a whole lot to do or see. We walked the town, bought souvenirs, got back on the boat where the real fun was. Lack of any pretty beaches.
