Sail Date: Oct 2016

This was our first river cruise. I must say I am please we choose Scenic. I gave it only 4 stars because of the lack of communication between Scenic prior to sailing. Other than that the ship is beautiful and well laid out. What they can do with a small space was wonderful. The food was way better than I ever expected including the buffet which I hate buffets. Everyone herding at one time to get there plate full. This seemed to work quiet well and great choices. The cruise director was a very hard working. Wanted everyone happy even if they choose to do nothing or go on every side trip and watch every performance. Our butter was the best. Now I must say my husband was a bit disappointed as far as all inclusive. He likes Royal Crown whiskey in the evening so upon getting to our room as stock was told we could not have it in our room but could go to the bar area. Now my husband has mobility problems and guess who was going to the bar to return with his glass of Royal Crown. Now the other minor problem was on booking we could not upgrade our room on the land package even if we were willing to pay more??? Perhaps they all have little things that could make them first class. The Danube is beautiful and a great choice.

Cabin Review

Cabin Balcony suite

The cabin was very nice and well laid out. The window was great and the added space in the balcony into the cabin area was great. The beds are top of the line and love the flexiblity of the up and down portion. Television was a great design. With all information at your finger tip.
